A two-day Capacity Building Programme on GST was organized as an outreach event for the capacity building of the officials of the Bihar Finance Service at Patna on 15th & 16th September 2022. Mr. Sanjay Kumar Mawandia, Special Commissioner State Tax inaugurated the Capacity Building Programme. 32 officials attended the Capacity Building Programme and strengthened their competencies. Topics like Consumption Taxes – India’s International Engagement, Scrutiny and Analysis of Returns under GST, Audit under GST and Analysis of Financial Statements with GST perspective were included in the said Programme. Sector specific topics like GST in Real Estate & Works Contract and GST in Banking Industry and Analysis of Financial Statements of banking companies with GST perspective were also included in the programme. The Capacity Building Programme was well received by the participants and was widely covered by the media.
