A two-day training programme on GST was organized as an outreach event for the capacity building of the officials of the Commissionerate of CT & GST, Odisha at Bhubaneswar on 23rd & 24th May, 2022.
Shri Sushil Kumar Lohani, Commissioner of CT and GST, Odisha inaugurated the training programme. 211 officials from the level of Commercial Tax and GST Officer to Additional Commissioner attended the training programme and strengthened their competencies. The training programme included sessions on GST law pertaining to real estate as well as the analysis of financial statements of the entities of the said sector, India’s international engagement in relation to consumption taxes, scrutiny and analysis of returns, audit plan, analysis of financial statements. The training programme received incredibly positive feedback from the participants and was widely covered by the media.
