A Three Day Capacity Building Programme on GST for Commissionerate of Taxes, Assam was organised from 28th to 30th November, 2022 at Guwahati which was attended by 75 officials. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Rakesh Aggarwala, IAS, the Principal Commissioner of State Tax, Assam. The Capacity Building programme included sessions on GST law pertaining to real estate, hospitality and tourism sector, banking & insurance industry as well as analysis of financial statements of banking & insurance companies with GST perspective. Types of Red Flag Reports , Investigation Experiences – Interesting cases with practical insights, System Overview of Scrutiny and Audit and Return and E-invoicing under GST. The Capacity Building programme received incredibly positive feedback from the participants and was widely covered by the media.
